In addition to masterclasses given by the faculty, there will be lectures and classes focussing on the physical, psychological and on ownership.

The second edition of the Akoesticum Talent Programme takes place from 23 February till
and with 4 March 2018. The application deadline is on 20 November 2017.

Accepted participants must pay a fee of  € 500,-. Akoesticum provides every participant with an additional scholarship, covering the remaining, actual costs of tuition, room and board. This covers housing at Akoesticum (private room, own bathroom) as well as breakfast, sandwich lunch and dinner and local transportation to and from the various concert venues. Participants are responsible for their own travel costs.

During the programme you will stay at Akoesticum, an international performing arts training centre in the Netherlands. It resides in a beautiful 1906 heritage site, situated in the surroundings of Veluwe National Park, green heart of The Netherlands. All masterclasses, lectures and some of the concerts will take place in Akoesticum.

Akoesticum offers the opportunity to rehearse, create, perform, eat and sleep. All under one roof. Ideal facilities and a great team taking care of things, enable you to find full focus and dedication to fully immerse in the inspiring journey that the Akoesticum Talent Programme is offering you.




NB: The applicant sends an audio file with playing the first movement of the piece of his/her preference. After acceptance, the applicant gives his/her first and second choice for trio,

quartet and quintet.

The Akoesticum Talent Programme assembles its participants with a faculty consisting of the best professors and top musicians of our time, working together in a broad and open minded environment. The course focuses on perfecting the art of training, trying, listening, understanding, being part of an ensemble and performing together. 


After 6 inspiring educational days in Akoesticum, your journey will continue.
All participants will perform in a 4 day concert tour.
